Sunao Fujii


Sunao has more than 25 years of consulting and training experience. Prior to moving to Singapore, he was based in Tokyo and worked for a management consulting firm assisting foreign firms entering the Japanese market to set up new business operations for 10 years.

On this basis, he broadened his skills with experience in dozens of consulting and training assignments spanning across the bio-technology, civil engineering, financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, medical, and trading industry.

As a professional trainer and facilitator, he is well versed in leadership transition and change management challenges, particularly with multicultural and matrix teams.

Sunao’s strengths lie in balancing a methodological approach with cultural and personal sensitivities and ensuring clients gain direct benefits from organizational development initiatives.

Sunao also shares his experiences and utilizes various profiles and assessments as a business coach, a service that he delivers regionally. Sunao is fluent in English and Japanese and very familiar with different working behaviors, management styles and leadership methodologies, with particular focus on cultural diversity challenges.

Further, his experience includes helping teams improve operational efficiencies and sales force optimization, resulting in improving bottom line results effectively. Especially in sales skills and negotiation skills development, as he is familiar with B2B/B2B2C, inside/field sales, and channel sales, he has been training more than 500 sales executives annually.
