How It Works

Managing Complexity guides participants through a process designed to build awareness of their own assumptions, fears, and blindspots, so they are better able to tolerate the uncertainty and paradox necessary to innovate, collaborate, and make good decisions in challenging times. They'll also have the opportunity to build a framework for looking at their capacities in a more integrated way, allowing them to access more energy and see a bigger picture. Finally, they'll work to gain insight into the various "selves" operating inside of them, and their influence on energy, perspective, and relationships.

Participants will:

  • Identify individual capacities, shortcomings, and responsibilities more clearly to improve their sense of well-being and effectiveness
  • Better understand other people's perspectives and motivations, so they can step out of the victim/perpetrator dynamic
  • Reduce the amount of energy they spend on blame or self-criticism, so they have more energy available to create value
