Arden Pennell is a Senior Facilitator at The Energy Project. She is an experienced facilitator, speaker, and coach who has worked with organizations including Google, Facebook, Sandoz, EY, Coca-Cola, and Bristol-Myers Squibb. Her goal is to support clients in unlocking additional capacity for self-fulfillment and high performance.
In her prior role as Vice President of Product Development at The Energy Project, Arden ensured products met client needs by gathering and incorporating feedback and guiding iterative design and testing. Previously, as Director of Faculty and Content, she led the training and development of The Energy Project’s facilitation team. She developed quality standards and onboarded new faculty while fostering a learning, caring community. She also researched, designed and piloted new learning programs.
Arden is a certified Integral Coach and served as faculty at New Ventures West, a coaching school headquartered in San Francisco. Since 2005, she has been committed to studying how the brain works through neuroscience and meditation, including intensive retreat practice under Sharon Salzberg and other leading teachers. She also facilitates courses at meditation centers.
After graduating with Honors and Distinction from Stanford University with a bachelor’s in Art History, she was awarded a post-graduate research grant from the German government. She speaks fluent German and Spanish. She also holds a certificate in Leadership and Organizational Development from New York University. She lives in Redwood City, California, and enjoys Middle Eastern cuisine and hiking in the redwood forest.
