James leads the design and deployment of solutions for our clients, heading up our team of facilitators, consultants and coaches. He consistently delivers remarkable results, helping our clients to create a mindset shift, new ways of working and culture that enables their people to be truly at their best.
He has led work with a wide range of organisations such as Google, BMW, Coca-Cola, Trainline, Weetabix, Schneider Electric, Microsoft, Unilever, Maersk Oil, Coca Cola, Said Business School, Genentech, Roche and UK Sport. In addition, he plays a key role in our product development.
James deeply embodies the principles of our work and is recognised as an inspiring leader within our organisation.
Prior to The Energy Project, James was a leading exponent of the science of high performance in elite sport. He spent a decade coaching and supporting some of the world’s highest performing individuals and teams. Over the course of three Olympic Games and numerous World Championships, he was part of a performance coaching leadership team responsible for successfully delivering highly ambitious medal targets. James played a significant role in helping three different sports achieve gold medal success at the London Olympic Games, a feat none of these sports had previously accomplished.
James has worked across numerous business sectors and holds postgraduate qualifications in executive coaching and mentoring. He has represented his country over 20 times as part of the Great British White Water Rafting Team, winning multiple medals and being crowned World and European Champion.
