Kerry Cullen is a Senior Coach at The Energy Project UK. She is a Chartered Business Psychologist with 15 years of coaching experience and is passionate about supporting people to become more resourceful and to create positive change.
She is at her happiest when she witnesses people shift their thinking to see new possibilities. Kerry has gained an in-depth knowledge of organisations over the last 18 years through her work which spans group facilitation, competency development, coaching, talent management and organisational research. She has designed a selection strategy which over 2,000 candidates went through; facilitated the succession planning for CEOs and conducted several large-scale organisational studies. Her clients include Bristol-Myers Squibb, Amazon, and the BBC.
Kerry manages her energy through a love of learning, yoga and sea swimming. She is continuously learning and seeking ways to deepen her understanding of how we can bring the best of ourselves to life. In the last few years, she has gone from having a fear of putting her face into the water, to swimming five kilometres in the sea.
When I read the HBR article ‘Manage your Energy Not Your Time’ it took my breath away, it was expressing what I was trying to say (in a much more articulate way), the work resonated with me at such a deep level, I just had to get involved. I am at my happiest when I am supporting people to resource themselves and I have had the great pleasure of seeing a positive impact of The Energy Project on individuals I coach. I have also experienced the benefits of introducing simple, practical habits for myself, which have resulted in me having more energy (which I need to keep up with my three boys). Furthermore, I love the integrity and the dynamic quality of the team and I can’t think of a better group of people to be working with.
